The questions we get asked most.
If yours isn't here, call the shop — you'll get one of us on the phone.
Getting started
How does the process work?
It starts with a walkthrough of your space. We talk through how you use the room, take measurements, and get a feel for scope and budget. From there we work out layout, materials, and finishes together, and you get an itemized quote before anything is built.
Do you charge for the consultation?
Call the shop and we'll tell you exactly what to expect before we schedule anything — no surprises on the first visit.
What should I have ready before we talk?
Photos of the room, rough measurements, and any inspiration images you have saved. If you know your budget range, say so early — it shapes the design more than anything else.
Design & build
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the size of the job and the finish. Design usually takes a few conversations, and the build is scheduled once the drawings are approved. You get a firm timeline with your quote, not an estimate that moves.
What are the cabinets made of?
We build with hardwood and plywood cases rather than particleboard veneer. Species and finish are chosen with you during design — maple, oak, hickory, walnut, and cherry are all common.
Can you match cabinetry I already have?
Often, yes. Bring us a door or a drawer front and we can tell you how close we can get on profile and finish.
Do I have to replace everything?
Not necessarily. If the boxes are sound, refacing with new doors, drawer fronts, and finish can change the room for considerably less. We'll tell you honestly which one your kitchen calls for.
Logistics
What areas do you serve?
Weatherford, Fort Worth, and the surrounding North Texas communities. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call and ask.
Who does the installation?
Our own installers. The people who built your cabinetry are the ones who set it in place, and we walk the finished space with you before calling the job done.
Do you offer financing?
Ask us when you call — we'll walk you through the payment options available for your project.
